Having been in the medical field for nearly 2 decades, Dr. Palep is famed for being experienced and vastly proficient in Weight loss & Upper GI surgeries. He is one of the first surgeons in India to be trained in Los Angeles, USA, for Banded Sleeve Gastrectomy & Banded Bypass as weight loss procedures.

Dr. Palep finished his MBBS from the reputable Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in the year 1997. He completed his MS from the renowned Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in the year 2000. He also did Fellowship course Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (FIAGES) from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (BIDMC) Boston, USA in the year 2009. He has been a faculty in reputed medical institutes in Mumbai accumulating experience in teaching for ten years. He has done Fellowship in advanced GI Laparoscopy in Bordeaux, France, Fellowship in Robotic & Advanced GI Laparoscopy in Italy. He is also a member of the executive committee of the Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI).

Dr. Palep is an expert in Metabolic & Bariatric surgery in Robotics & Laparoscopy, Robotic surgery for the pancreas, stomach, spleen & adrenals.
